Snow Continues to Fall on Northern Connecticut.

Snow has been falling since around 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.  Road conditions range from slushy on back roads, while major routes and highways, such as Route 8 south, are perfectly clear.By Preston Hazard December 1st, 2019 2:00 pm EST
 When I woke up this morning, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as road conditions. After I jumped in my car and headed to my usual breakfast spot (which is all back roads from my house, as well as the studio) I was hit with an overwhelming beauty of the snow-covered trees, ice caked cars, and rare quietness, that only seems to happen after a snow storm. Amazingly, apart from some minor road slush, and patches of ice, the roads weren't that bad. After breakfast, I drove down to the newsroom, inside the Pow Animation Studio, located in the northwest corridor of Connecticut, and the road conditions remained the same.
