Snow Continues to Fall on Northern Connecticut.

Snow lightly falling on Route 8 South, heading towards Waterbury.

Snow has been falling since around 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

Road conditions range from slushy on back roads, while major routes and highways, such as Route 8 south, are perfectly clear.

When I woke up this morning, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as road conditions. After I jumped in my car and headed to my usual breakfast spot (which is all back roads from my house, as well as the studio) I was hit with an overwhelming beauty of the snow-covered trees, ice caked cars, and rare quietness, that only seems to happen after a snow storm. Amazingly, apart from some minor road slush, and patches of ice, the roads weren't that bad. After breakfast, I drove down to the newsroom, inside the Pow Animation Studio, located in the northwest corridor of Connecticut, and the road conditions remained the same. After working on something for a while, I began to wonder what the road conditions were like on the more main roads that surrounded the studio. So I strapped on a few cameras and hit the open road.

Route 8's conditions were significantly better than that of the back roads, they were also more populate. I snapped this picture from my moving car (There's no law against sing a camera while driving right?).

The snow is expected to continue until sometime tomorrow, however, if you are planning to take a road trip, I'd say depending on what your driving, stick to main roads.

The event will be held at Foote Road in Burlington Ct, and the whole event will be sponsored by the Burlington Lions Club. The weather should be in the mid to upper 30s, so be sure to bring a light jacket.
Here's what the team said about the event on their official twitter:

Lewis Mills Playing Final Football Game, and Cade is Out.

Its Lewis Mills final game and Cade is out for obvious reasons...By Preston Hazard
November 21st, 20195:45 pm EST   I'm here at Dillon Stadium in Hartford Connecticut, where the Lewis Mills Spartans are less then half an hour from playing their last game of the season.   I spoke to Lewis Mills head coach, John Oko about the team's goal for the game.   "Just keep the ball out of the endzone. We have a really good defense, so let's keep the ball out of the endzone."

My Terrifying Role in Upcoming Amazon Horror Film

360 Seconds of Nothing is an upcoming psychological horror film, set to release on Prime video in mid-February. By Preston Hazard

In this film, I play the "bad guy" or whatever you want to call my freaky character. And let me be the first to say, it is really weird (and somewhat disturbing) to watch myself playing that kind of role. The film is actually terrifying, and I'm not just saying that because I'm one of the executive producers. The team actually did an incredible job of making me... well, downright horrific! Check it out on February 12th!
